Third Time’s A Charm
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.
Twice a fool for love, Desiree Young learned her lesson a little late, but she’ll never forget it—Just say no to romantic relationships! Work has become her life, and she honestly loves every minute of it until… Until nepotism rears its ugly head, and she may lose everything she’s worked so hard to the most irritatingly-sexy grouch ever.
Two failed marriages have taught Dallas Write a valuable lesson—There is no such thing as happily ever after. Work is dependable, and he loves what he does. After his beloved great uncle leaves his business to him, Dallas must give up his true love—being a master chef—to learn and run the business. Dallas lost both of his businesses to divorce and won’t allow his uncle’s business to be taken over by an outsider—no matter how intelligent, gorgeous and perfect for him she may be.
Two work-aholics, burned twice by love. Well, you know what they say: Third Time’s A Charm.

Back Story Third Time’s A Charm
This is the third book in the Write Brothers Series. Dallas is the grump of the bunch, the one some would consider socially awkward. Authors often write parts of themselves into characters. Like Dallas, some consider me socially awkward at times (it’s okay, I know SMILE) and like him, I am pretty straight forward (okay, so tact isn’t my best friend) but also like him, I’d go that extra mile for you. Romance is fantasy, and having a socially awkward hero is… okay, it’s not done, but why not. I’m pretty sure by the end of the book, you’ll love him as much as I do.

Help Pick Who’s Next (Dallas or Tyler)
UPDATE: Dallas won! His story will be next. Stay tuned. Be sure to sign up for the Special Announcements so you don’t miss Third Time’s A Charm! (Dallas’s Story)
Tell Her How You Feel, Austin Write’s story, was the first book of the series. Next, the readers chose Houston’s story (Santa’s Helper). Now I need your assistance in picking whose story comes next: Dallas or Tyler’s.
Dallas Write falls between Houston and Austin in age and is one of the best chefs in the world. I’m serious. He’s been burned too many times to count and not by the stove, but women. Two divorces from cheating women have soured my baby toward relationships. My Uncle Joe says he has the perfect woman in mind to sweeten my baby’s disposition.
Tyler Write is my youngest baby and I hate to say it, but he likes the ladies a little too much. He won’t let any woman close to his heart, which is a shame. He’s such a good person and would make an excellent husband and father. I have someone special in mind for him. Someone he won’t have a choice but to allow close.
Use the comment section below to say who you believe should come next and why. Dee will be having giveaways to help thank you for helping me on this quest to marry my sons off.
Thanks oh so much for your help. I can use it!

Santa’s Helper
When I began writing the Write brother’s series, I decided I wanted one of the brothers to be a widower. I know a young woman who has lost her husband, and needless to say, she is devastated. In romance you fall in love with “the one” for you, but what if your “one” dies?
There are four Write brothers. Austin’s story was told first in Tell Her How You Feel, and the other brothers were introduced. I asked readers to help me choose which brother’s story would be next, and Houston won by a landslide. There are still two brothers to go and I hope you help. Use the link to the right to cast your vote, after you read Santa’s Helper.
Santa’s Helper: Marybeth Write is a kindergartner on a mission many deem impossible—to see her dad marry their neighbor by Christmas. To accomplish this mission, she’ll have to go straight to the top—her grandmother and the big guy himself—Santa! A kid’s gotta do what a kid’s gotta do.
Five years ago when District Attorney Houston Write lost his wife to breast cancer, he began going through the motions of life without truly living. Then choreographer Sabrina Ingles moved in across the street and reignited a fire within him he thought was long gone. Now Houston is ready to live again and give his child the mother she deserves.
When Sabrina Ingles’ marriage went down in flames, she swore off relationships and the trouble that accompanies them. But how could she shield herself against the most adorable little girl ever? Marybeth quickly became a part of Sabrina’s heart as Sabrina’s undeniable attraction to Houston grew stronger. Guarding her heart against the type of man fantasies are jealous of has become a full-time job, but she refuses to be burned again.

Sneak Peek
Gloria here. I’ve convinced Dee to share the first scene of Houston’s story. It’s her extremely rough draft, and she fought me against posting it because it isn’t edited, but I have amazing powers of persuasion. To bring you up to date on the timeline for this story, Austin and Latifah are married and she’s extremely pregnant. The holiday season is quickly approaching and my powers of persuasion don’t seem to work with Houston. So I must call in the big guns—also known as my granddaughter Marybeth—to help me with this mission.
Dee here. Please don’t fall in love with the name of the book. The name usually changes by the time I write The End. Also, this is a rough draft. Extremely rough draft and will change, but it will give you an idea of the story.
Enjoy: Santa’s Helper
